GePi Sound insulation brackets

GePi angles were developed as part of a close collaboration between Pitzl Metallbau GmbH & Co. KG and Getzner Werkstoffe. The result is a connection system that combines maximum load-bearing capacity, sound insulation and safety – specially designed for the requirements of modern timber construction. The combination of precise steel construction and Sylodyn® technology gives GePi angles exceptional performance. The elastic decoupling enables a sound bridge-free connection and reduces the transmission of vibrations and oscillations to a minimum. A particular advantage is also evident in dynamic loads: GePi angles are characterised by energy-absorbing and damage-free behaviour under cyclic stresses – an added safety feature that has been impressively confirmed in practical tests.

The GePi-Connect developed as part of the cooperation with Getzner Werkstoffe has a much higher load-bearing capacity than comparable concepts on the market. On the basis of test results the TVFA Innsbruck confirms characteristic loads up to 60 kN for the GePi 240. An additional advantage of this system is the energy dissipation without any breakage in case of an earthquake. Die GePi-Winkel wurden im Rahmen einer engen Kooperation zwischen Pitzl Metallbau GmbH & Co. KG und Getzner Werkstoffe entwickelt. Das Ergebnis ist ein Verbindungssystem, das höchste Tragfähigkeit, Schallschutz und Sicherheit vereint – speziell ausgelegt für die Anforderungen des modernen Holzbaus. Durch die Kombination aus präziser Stahlkonstruktion und Sylodyn®-Technologie erreichen GePi-Winkel eine außergewöhnliche Leistungsfähigkeit. Die elastische Entkopplung ermöglicht eine schallbrückenfreie Verbindung und reduziert die Übertragung von Vibrationen und Schwingungen auf ein Minimum.
