Connectors for modern timber construction

Our connectors offer reliable, easy-to-install solutions for a wide range of applications in structural timber construction. Whether for load-bearing structures, precise element connections or detailed connection points, they stand for stability, accuracy of fit and durability. The range includes HVP connectors in various designs, step connectors, CLT connectors and wall connectors.

HVP

The HVP connector made of anodised aluminium offers a reliable and approved solution for connecting wood to wood, concrete or steel. Whether in classic timber construction, hybrid structures or customised special solutions, the system impresses with its high load-bearing capacity, simple installation and versatile application options. Available with or without lift-off protection.

Heavy-duty version

Pitzl heavy-duty HVP connectors enable highly resilient and approved connections in timber construction – ideal for demanding structures with maximum load-bearing capacity.

Double HVP

Double is better. More precisely, up to 727 kN. The double version of our proven HVP connector offers significantly higher load capacity thanks to its double arrangement – ideal for applications with particularly high load requirements. The compact design and easy installation remain unchanged, while the static performance is doubled. Double HVP connectors are automatically supplied with lift-off protection.

HVP steel / concrete connections

Our system offers a sophisticated solution for steel and concrete connections: an anchor plate is firmly anchored in the substrate using approved concrete anchors. The actual timber connection is made as usual using a tried-and-tested HVP connector. The load-bearing capacity of the concrete part (anchor and concrete) must be verified separately. HVP connectors for steel/concrete connections are automatically supplied with lift-off protection.

SVP Connector

The step connector consists of two precisely matched parts that can be securely hooked together, creating a stable, force-fit connection between the treads and risers as well as the stair stringers. This sophisticated hook-in system enables quick and easy installation without visible screws. In addition to high load-bearing capacity, it ensures an elegant, clean look and a durable connection in stair construction. Can be installed either concealed or with a shadow gap.

WVP Connector

The Pitzl wall connector ensures easy installation of wall elements. Thanks to the extended threading path, it is no longer necessary to set all fastening points at the same time – they can be conveniently and precisely attached one after the other.

ISO-Connect

With its innovative screw connection concept, ISO-CONNECT enables secure connections to thermally insulated timber façades – for example, for canopies, balconies or French balconies. Its compatibility with the proven HVP system further expands its range of applications. ISO-CONNECT can be used flexibly on solid wood, glulam and cross-laminated timber.

SPP Connector

Pitzl SPP connectors enable stable, precise and retightenable wood connections – ideal for connections subject to tensile or combined stress. They are easy to install, can be removed if necessary and, thanks to their ETA approval, even offer the possibility of straight screw connections in end grain. This ensures higher load-bearing capacity and secure connections.

RIGID

The RIGID system connector allows rigid column-beam connections to be implemented easily and efficiently. The combination of the proven HVP connector and tension plate replaces the headband, e.g. in carport construction. In larger versions, the system is also suitable for hall construction and enables joints with high torsional stiffness – corresponding to almost complete clamping.

CLT Connector

The connector for power transmission in all directions on all plate levels. Versatile with an excellent price-performance ratio.

With reduced width

Ideal for applications with special fire protection requirements. The compact design allows the use of narrow timber in space-saving constructions without compromising load-bearing capacity and meets fire protection requirements of 120 minutes.
