Mounting a wooden post with a PITZL post bracket

Installation of a wooden post using the PITZL post bracket 1xxxx.xxxx in accordance with ETA-10/0413. The top plate (xxx mm) is attached to the wooden post using 4 flat-head fully threaded screws with a diameter of 10.0 mm and a length of 120 / 160 mm. The base plate (xxx mm) is connected to the concrete using 4 concrete anchors/screws with a diameter of xxx mm. The load-bearing capacity of the concrete anchors/screws must be verified separately.

The installation height is xxx – xxx mm. The load-bearing capacities, based on wood grade xxx, are as follows:

• F1,Rk (Compression) = xxx kN Compressive capacity in the direction of the wooden support
•  F1,Rk (Tension) = xxx kN Tensile capacity in the direction of the wooden support

Making a main and secondary busbar connection with PITZL HVP 88xxx.xxxx in accordance with ETA-15/0187. The connection to the main wooden beam is made using xxxpcs. Connection of a canopy/awning (description) to a thermally insulated timber structure using Pitzl Iso Connect 83xxx.xxxx adapter plate (dimensions XX x XX x XX mm) in accordance with ETA-15/0187. 

Fastening to the timber construction with special timber construction screws. Number and dimensions as specified by the manufacturer. Additional internal threaded holes (XX pcs., diameter MXX) for metric fastening of the awning/canopy (description).

Sound-decoupled connection wood to wood

Producing a sound-decoupled connection between wall and ceiling elements or as wall-to-wall connection with Pitzl Gepi 80 according to ETA-21/0750. The connection to the bottom leg is made with two pieces of Heco Topix Plus with diameter 8,0 mm and a length of 160mm. The connection to the wall leg is made with three pieces of Heco Topix Plus flange head screws. The serviceability has to be proven by the stiffness characteristics.

The characteristic load bearing capacities for connections to cross laminated timber (CLT) are:

• F_1,Rk = 8 kN – tensile strength
• F_2/3,Rk = 5 kN – shear strength, direction F_2/3,Rk
