Product information
Targeted Reduction of Sound Transmission. Sylodyn® strips provide a reliable solution for the resilient decoupling of building components, making a significant contribution to effective sound insulation. Available in a range of thicknesses, widths and configurations, they support a safe and efficient project workflow – from design through to installation.
Getzner’s decades of experience in vibration isolation for rail, construction and industrial applications provide a solid foundation for architects, planners, building acousticians, timber contractors and engineered wood construction companies. This expertise helps meet demanding building acoustics requirements in modern structures.
Depending on project requirements, Sylodyn® strips are available in thicknesses of 6.25 mm, 12.5 mm and 25 mm, and are cut to the required dimensions on a project-specific basis. Different stiffness grades allow the material to be optimally matched to the respective load conditions. The strips are installed between wall and floor/ceiling elements to reduce the transmission of structure-borne sound. For applications involving particularly high compressive loads, stiffer Sylodyn® grades are available on request.
