PITZL can look back on 35 years of experience as a supplier of innovative wood connection systems for highest demands. Starting like many companies in a garage, the first mullion connectors were manufactured almost 35 years ago by the current senior boss. The first order with 50 post supports was made to order for a carpenter in the neighbourhood. After renting in a converted vehicle hall, the new building in Altheim was started in 1991. Since 2001, the proven HVP connectors - which have been continuously further developed since then - have been successfully on the market, of course with comprehensive statutory building authority approval. Wood-wood, wood-concrete and wood-steel connections are included in the approval for the HVP connector system, as is fire protection, for example. Continuous development and practical experience have also allowed the range of post supports to grow to its current level.
"A suitable concept for every application" is the credo at PITZL. Relevant questions are regulated in the new ETA approvals for the complete CE range. In addition to the core markets in German-speaking countries such as Germany, Switzerland and Austria, PITZL now exports to Italy, Canada, Poland, France and the Benelux countries, among others.
