Sound-decoupled connection wood-to-wood or wood-to-concrete/steel
Producing a sound-decoupled connection between wall and ceiling elements or as wall-to-wall connection and to concrete or steel elements with Pitzl GePi 100 according to ETA-21/0750. The connection to the bottom leg is made with four pieces of Heco Topix Plus with diameter 8,0 mm and a length of 160mm. The connection to the wall leg is made with five pieces of Heco Topix Plus flange head screws. The connection to concrete construction is made with four pieces of countersunk anchor. The serviceability has to be proven by the stiffness characteristics.
The characteristic load bearing capacities for connections to cross laminated timber (CLT) are:
F1,Rk = 16 kN – tensile strength
F2/3,Rk = 12 kN – shear strength, direction F2/3,Rk
F4/5,Rk = 20 kN – shear strength, direction F4/5,Rk
The load bearing capacity in concrete must be designed separately according to the anchor manufacturer´s specifications.
The number and arrangement of the connectors as well as the installation and assembly must be taken from the specifications in accordance with ETA-21/0750. Basically, the requirements of DIN EN 1995 and DIN EN 1992 must be fulfilled.
