Connection to wood construction with a post base
Connection to wood construction with PITZL post base 11013.1100 according to ETA-10/0413. The connection to the column of the upper plate (100 x 100 x 6 mm) is made by means of 4 full-thread screws with a diameter of 10 mm and a length of 120 mm. The connection to concrete of the base plate (100 x 160 x 6 mm) is made by using 4 anchors or concrete screws with a diameter of 12,0 mm. The load-bearing capacity of the dowels or concrete screws must be verified separately.
The installation height is 150 mm. The required minimum timber dimension is 120/120 mm.
The characteristic load bearing capacity according to timber strength class C24 are:
F1,Rk (Compression) = 100 kN Pressure load capacity in direction of wood support
F1,Rk (Tension) = 3,6 kN Tension load capacity in direction of wood support
F2/3,Rk = 2,8 kN Horizontal load capacity in direction of longer side of base
F4/5,Rk = 1,7 kN Horizontal load capacity in direction of shorter side of base
The number and arrangement of the bases as well as the installation and assembly must be taken from the specifications in accordance with ETA-10/0413. Basically, the requirements of DIN EN 1995 must be fulfilled.
