A system for all applications! Threads of 20 to 30 mm and the most varied plate sizes with 6 to 15 mm material thickness - we have the perfect solution for any application. Lift-off and lateral impacts can be counteracted with a straight screw connection into the cross-grained wood using fully-threaded 10 x 120 mm wood screws (with European Technical Approval) or a strut or lateral latches. Of course, post bases of the right/left-threaded system are still height-adjustable when mounted and under heavy load. The use of additional lock nuts increases the rigidity of the connection.

For lateral fixation, the mandrel M24 x 110 mm is inserted into the timber column.

Connection to wood construction with a post base

Connection to wood construction with PITZL post base 10952.1000 according to ETA-10/0413. The connection to the column of the upper plate (Ø 100 x 8 mm) is made by means of 4 full-thread screws with a diameter of 10 mm and a length of 120 mm. The connection to concrete of the base plate (100 x 160 x 8 mm) is made by using 4 anchors or concrete screws with a diameter of 12,0 mm. The load-bearing capacity of the dowels or concrete screws must be verified separately.

The installation height is 146 - 211 mm. The required minimum timber dimension is 120/120 mm.

The characteristic load bearing capacity according to timber strength class C24 are:

F_1,Rk (Compression) = 90 kN Pressure load capacity in direction of wood support

F_1,Rk (Tension) = 11,8 kN Tension load capacity in direction of wood support

F_2/3,Rk = 2,5 kN Horizontal load capacity in direction of longer side of base

F_4/5,Rk = 2,5 kN Horizontal load capacity in direction of shorter side of base

The number and arrangement of the bases as well as the installation and assembly must be taken from the specifications in accordance with ETA-10/0413. Basically, the requirements of DIN EN 1995 must be fulfilled.
